| Some workers fixing the cobblestone streets of St. Brieuc. I liked this scene because these guys were doing the work by hand, mostly, which is something we North Americans aren't used to. I could have picked something more interesting to photograph, I know, like beautiful French women, or men, or castles, but then that would make my web site just like all the OTHER sites dedicated to travel and trips, wouldn't it! | |
| Eva enjoying the last of our 'lunch on the rocks' on Ile de Brehat. I believe it was a baguette, sausage, and cheese. Eva, thanks for eating only cheese, and leaving me the rest. Maybe someday you will eat the chorizo, too! | |
| An old, abandoned abbey (or church) near St. Malo. There is actually a museum next door, which was closed for lunch when we got there (this is getting to be a common experience - I get to a place at 12 only to find out it's closed till 1:00 or even 1:30 PM) I liked this abbey also because it's not renovated, but still preserved. | |
| Eva showed me how to fly kites while we were here. I had totally forgotten that kite-flying can be fun... Also, I forgot how hard it is to keep the darned thing from crashing and making the owner get nervous that's you're ruining her cool Aldi kite! |
