page 1 - Frankfurt

I finally got around to publishing some pictures of the city I (used to) live in - Frankfurt. I started with the Hauptbahnhof and some of the attractions. Then I talk about where I work. Frankfurt isn't a real 'pretty' city. I liked the riverfront most.

This is the hauptbahnhof. The air in Frankfurt is so dirty it makes everything look dark. No, actually, Frankfurt is quite clean (at least, the city tries to keep it that way). I just underexposed the picture.

Städtische Bühnen - City Stages (opera and ballet).

This is St. Bartholemew's cathedral, otherwise known as 'Dom'. There are Croation, Greek Orthodox, Catholic and also Protestant masses held here. You really have to watch the church calendar. Thanks to Tobias for pointing out my mistake - this is NOT the Paulskirche (that's the round one between Hauptwache and Roemerberg).
